Growing From Grass To Grace

As i reflect on my life, my experience that stand out as a pivotal moment of growth and transformation was my participation in a community development programme during my HND programming.

Growing up in a comfortable middle class family, I had always been sheltered from the harsh realities of poverty and inequality. However, during my HND 1 programme I stay in rural area in a disadvantaged region of the Areas. The experience was a rude awakening as i was confronted with the stark realities of poverty, lack of transportation because my house is far from school and money.

As part of the HND 1 i worked closely with my practical skills, real world experience, and specialised knowledge for success in my career. And HND is just what I need to get ahead of any competitive job.

Present both Challenges and growth opportunities particularly as they offer a practical vocational path to career advancement but can face issues related to recognition and career progression.

The experience taught me many lessons that have shaped my life and career. Especially in a vocational context, l emphasises practical skills and knowledge offering a valuable learning experience that got me beyond theoretical knowledge.

In conclusion, my experience during the HND 1 programme was focus on practical skills and industry relevance preparing graduates for technical and vocational roles.
